Check out this Webb-Site: Looking Back/Looking Forward

By Joe Webb, National Sales Manager

With 2021 in the books and 2022 already upon us, this seems an appropriate time to reflect on the past and look ahead to what we can expect in the coming year.  To begin, I want to reaffirm SIGMA’s past, present, and most importantly, future commitment to delivering industry-leading service. We value our relationships with our customers and consider them our true partners. To that end, we will always say “yes”—we will continue to find solutions, we will locate inventory, and we will go the extra mile.

Our dedication to transparency is unwavering; customers might not like what we have to report but we will always tell the truth and maintain open communication.  We will continue to work with our suppliers and capitalize on our long-standing relationships to deliver for customers, even in these challenging times.

It has been encouraging to see things return to “normal.” The November WASDA event was a success and I really enjoyed seeing friends, colleagues and customers in person. The main takeaways from the conference were that demand will remain strong and the supply chain woes are here to stay well into 2022. Attracting and retaining personnel in this aging industry is a challenge these days, and that is also expected to continue.

On a personal note, the Webb family remains active and busy. Except for LinkedIn, I think social media is the devil, especially for kids, so we keep our four busy all the time. Our two youngest “criminals” are starting wrestling this winter; I figured that they might as well learn proper technique since they fight non-stop at home.

I wish everyone a happy, healthy, prosperous new year!
