SIGMA welcomes Kristin Torres, Customer Service Representative in the Western Regional Office. Kristin joined the team in February, and hit the ground running. She arrived at SIGMA with ten years of experience in logistics, operations, shipping, data entry and scheduling—all of which are important skills in her current position. When asked about her approach to the job, Kristin is clear, “I always come in mentally prepared to work, to do what needs to be done efficiently, and to block out everything else. I am still adjusting, and the product line here is huge so there is a lot to learn.” Jon Taft, Area Sales Manager comments, “Kristin has been the right addition to the Ontario team. She has demonstrated a desire to learn the business, has a great work ethic, and collaborates effectively. She has been the exact addition we needed to expand our team. Kristin is already playing a key role in delivering SIGMA’s best-in-class service to our customers.”
When she is not providing industry-leading service, Kristin can often be found on the baseball field, where her 15-year-old son plays third base and sometimes pitches. She also enjoys travel, spending time with family and friends, and in her own words, “going out and having fun!”
